If a gas oven is not heating at all, this is usually a result of a faulty gas control, igniter, or gas valve. Common electric oven problems include faulty or worn-out heating element, broken wire, burned out thermal fuse, or a bad control board. Wrong oven temperature is usually caused by faulty temperature sensor, weak gas igniter or burned out heating element. In some cases, to correct the temperature readings, oven needs to be calibrated. Types of ovens and how to choose the proper one

  • ⇀ For new electric oven installations or if switching from gas to electric, you will usually need a visit from an electrician to maintain the power supply. Most electric ovens and ranges use 220-volt outlets, different than your regular 110-volt ones.
  • ⇀ All new gas oven installations require an already existing and installed gas line, ready to be connected to the new appliance. If gas line is not present at the location where the oven will be installed, you need to contact your gas company for recommendations.
  • ⇀ The choice between a built-in oven and a free-standing range with oven depends on your current cabinets configuration and it may require some kitchen remodeling and investments.
  • ⇀ Beside single build-in oven there are also combination units like double build-in oven and build-in microwave and wall oven combo.

For our customers in Las Vegas, we offer $85 diagnostic fee, which will be deducted from the total amount of the oven repair cost (labor and parts), if performed by us. If you don’t want us to do the repair you simply pay us the diagnostic fee.
